I am pleased to announce that Master Sam Chin is coming to Oakland, California for an I Liq Chuan Workshop on May 16 & 17, 2015
Peng Jing – the Force Field Spheres of Offense & Defense
This workshop will focus on the Six Physical Points with an emphasis on refining the use of Peng Energy – the Internal and External Force Field Spheres of Offense & Defense. You will learn partner work with Condense & Expand to measure the strength of your opponent’s sphere.
You will be taught to recognize the following conditions and skillfully apply the appropriate actions of:
1.) Hitting and Bouncing the Sphere to off balance and throw when the opponent's sphere is too strong to penetrate;
2.) Penetrate and Collapse the Opponents Sphere to Strike;

Your training will progress to understand how these conditions interrelate, and recognize and manifest the feel of the furthest point using awareness of Six Directional Energy and Yin &Yang muscle balance.
The I Liq Chuan 5 Element Nei Gung will be covered with emphasis on partner work using the Qualities and Force Dynamics of the 5 Elements within the context of the 3 Engagements:

About I Liq Chuan®:
I-Liq Chuan (roughly translated as “mind-body fist”) is an art of cultivating consciousness based on Tai Chi and Chan (Zen) principles of non-assertions, non-resistance, harmony of yin and yang, oneness, and the present moment. As a system of Kung Fu, I-Liq Chuan emphasizes the development of internal power through mental attitude and awareness. The training develops sticking and merging abilities, circular spiral energy, Chin Na (locking), Fa Jing (projecting force), Chi Kung, and most importantly, integration of the mind’s complete awareness in the present moment. I-Liq Chuan trains the ability to sense the opponent’s intention through awareness and to redirect the force and use it against the opponent or incorporate the use of Fa Jing.
I Liq Chuan is an art which is growing rapidly worldwide with Instructors and Practitioners in 18 countries. A brilliant synthesis of Tai Chi, Hsing-I, Ba Gua, Shaolin and Hakka arts; I Liq Chuan is also a merging of Taoist and Buddhist teaching.
