The Martial Arts Collective Society Gathering - September 30 & October 1st, 2017
The Martial Arts Collective Society Gathering 2017 will be taking place September 30 & October 1st, 2017.
The Gathering was created as a venue for martial artists from all disciplines to share their knowledge and experience.
Many Martial Arts events focus on the teachers and masters.
The Gathering is focused on exposing the students to many styles of the martial arts in order to promote unity. It is a unique opportunity for students of all ranks and styles to train with some of the greatest Martial Artists of our time.
The Martial Arts Collective Society (MACS) Gathering has become the premier Martial Arts Event in the United States, where martial artists from many different styles and systems can come together in an atmosphere of sharing and learning.
There are Instructors from Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian Filipino, Brazilian, and Korean arts. There are classes on healing and restorative arts and related cultural traditions, brush painting, and so on.
Grandmaster Sam F.S. Chin will be teaching I Liq Chuan at the Gathering in Sacramento this year. And the founder of I Liq Chuan, Grandmaster Chin Lik Keong will be recognized at this year's event and placed in the Hall of Legends.
There will be a one day workshop with Sifu Sam F.S. Chin on Monday October 2, 10:00 am - 5:30 pm following the Martial Arts Collective Society Annual Gathering. Click here to learn more and register.
Other featured instructors include:
- Sensei Roy Goldberg 7th Dan Shihan and Kyoju Dairi, recipient of the third scroll in the Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai tradition, who will be teaching, both Daito Ryu and restorative arts.
- Sifus Ron Wilkerson, Charles Brown and Mike Synder of the Chi Lin Pai Kung Fu tradition.
Each year there are workshops on the Healing Arts; Dr. Brian Garrett DC will be teaching Applied Kinesiology and doing complimentary treatments throughout the weekend.
